OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE A PATHWAY OF HOPE TO OVERCOME OPIATE ADDICTION AND BEGIN A NEW START IN LIFE.
WE BELIEVE IN CHANGE
Here at A New Start we understand that opiate addiction is a chronic disease like diabetes or heart disease, meaning it cannot be cured but it can be managed.
The treatment of choice for opiate addiction, according to the American Society of Addiction Medicine, is Medicine-Assisted Treatment (MAT). With A New Start’s (MAT) program Suboxone medication is provided along with access to a 12-step recovery program and behavioral therapy. This results in complete treatment of mind, body and spirit.
We recognize that this is a disease that not only affects the addicted person but those closest to them. The consequences of an opiate-addicted person’s behaviors often cause separation from family and friends. We also understand with true recovery that these relationships can be rebuilt.
Our empathetic staff recognizes where you have been, where you are currently and where you have the potential to go. A New Start wants to assist you in your journey of taking your life back.
